Tussock Sedge, Upright Sedge

Tussock Sedge, Upright Sedge Carex stricta Full to part sun, wet to moderately wet moisture level, adaptable to most all soil types, extremely acid to neutral pH.  1-3 feet height, spreads slowly by re-seeding and can also form large colonies by spreading rhizomes.
