Eupatorium hyssopifolium

Full to part sun, medium to dry moisture level, tolerates a wide variety of soils as long as well-drained, neutral to mildly alkaline pH.  2-3 feet height, blooms late summer into fall, white flowers.

Native Region:  Common statewide except generally uncommon in Coastal Plain Province and northeast corner of Blue Ridge Province

White tubular flowers in dense, flat-topped clusters 4 to 10 inches across. An under-used and invaluable pollinator species which is ideal for dry sites. Self seeds when happy so ideal plant for meadows and restoration projects and can be used en masse in a naturalistic setting. Particularly resistant to drought. Occurs naturally in dry grasslands, sandy or gravelly fields and roadsides, rights of ways, and dry open woods. Clouds of flowers attract many pollinators and butterflies.
