Smooth Blue Aster Symphyotrichum laeve (Aster laevis) Full to part sun, moderately wet to moderately dry moisture level, prefers fertile soil but will grow in clay, wide pH tolerance. 1-3 ft. height, blooms in fall, blue flowers. Attracts bees and butterflies; birds eat the seeds.
