Veronicastrum virginicum

Full to part sun, moderately wet to medium moisture level, rich soil, moderately acid pH.  4-6 feet height, blooms in summer, white flowers, self-seeds slowly.

Germination Code:  C(30), D   Newly emerged seedlings are miniscule and develop best at a cool temperature.

Native Region:  Concentrated in Western Highland Rim, Central Basin and Cumberland Plateau provinces

Low maintenance plant with showy flowers.  Easy to grow.  Soil should not be allowed to dry out.  Usually takes several years to establish itself in the garden but is worth the wait.  Attracts butterflies and bees.
