Part sun, moderately wet to medium moisture level, rich soil, slightly acid pH.  12-18 inches tall, blooms in spring, yellow flowers, spreads by stolons to create colonies.

Native Region:  Eastern half of Tennessee

Hardy, dwarf compact coreopsis with attractive foliage. This species of coreopsis is generally not reliably perennial, especially if it is in clay soil that stays wet in winter.  It tends to be more disease prone, suffering from both powdery mildew and downy mildew. Attracts butterflies and bees.
