Full sun, moderately wet to moderately dry moisture level, tolerant of a wide range of soils including clay.  7 feet height, blooms late summer and fall, yellow flowers, spreads aggressively by rhizomes and also will self-seed.

Native Region:  Highland Rim and Central Basin of Middle Tennessee and the Ridge and Valley Province of East Tennessee

Easy to grow.  Likely to need staking. Attracts birds and butterflies.
