Blue Star Amsonia tabernaemontana Full to part sun, wet to moderately wet moisture level, tolerates wide range of soil from sandy to clay, slightly acid pH. 2-3 ft. height, blooms in spring, blue flowers. Germination Code: C(60).   Slightly difficult to germinate from seed Native Region: Statewide Easy-to-grow plant that naturally occurs in wetlands in Tennessee. Forms a shrubby clump with clusters of lovely small, pale blue star-shaped flowers. Tolerates full shade but will become floppy and need staking.
