Native Region:  Only occurs in 4 counties — Claiborne, Grundy, Sequatchie, and Hamilton

Designated an “Endangered Species” in Tennessee.  Since there are different regional varieties of this species, it is important to buy them as close to home as possible.  Attracts birds, including hummingbirds.
