Full sun during bloom period followed by shade of deciduous trees; moderately wet while blooming & tolerates drier soil when dormant; rich soil; moderately acid to neutral pH.  2-7 inches height, blooms in early spring, pink to white flowers, re-seeds readily.

Germination Code:  Sow fresh at 70 degrees for 3 or more months; then switch to 40 degrees; germination in 6-7 weeks.

Native Region:  Statewide

Tiny, delicate spring ephemeral which dies down after flowering.  Division is easiest; divide corms while plant is dormant.  Transplants well.
