Full sun; moderately wet to dry moisture level; not particular about soils, growing in a wide range including rocky; strongly acid to neutral pH.  3-5 feet height, blooms late summer into fall, yellow flowers, spreads by rhizomes and can be a heavy re-seeder.

Native Region:  Only occurs in 8 counties – Decatur, Dickson, Lewis, Rutherford, Coffee, Franklin,  Marion, and White

Easy to grow.  One of the more attractive goldenrods.  Attracts butterflies, bees and birds.
