Sun to shade, wet to medium moisture level, adaptable to most soils except rocky, moderately acid to neutral pH.  2 feet height, spreads slowly by re-seeding and slowly by rhizomes.

Native Region:  Found only in Campbell County

Cool season.  Excellent sedge for a variety of soil moisture levels and sun exposures.  Fine textured sedge that makes a nice addition to many landscape projects.
