Bristly Sedge, Longhair Sedge

Bristly Sedge, Longhair Sedge Carex comosa Full sun to light shade, wet to moderately wet moisture level, prefers mucky or slightly sandy soil but is tolerant of clay, very strongly acid to neutral pH.  2 feet height, spreads slowly by seed and moderately fast by rhizomes.
