Dappled sunlight of woodlands, moderately wet to medium moisture level, rich humusy soil, circumneutral pH.  12 inches height, blooms in spring, white flowers.

Germination Code:  C(90)

Native Region:  Middle and East Tennessee

Graceful, ephemeral spring wildflower that goes dormant in summer.  Showy flowers.  Intolerant of wet soils in winter.  Attracts bees.

    I’ve known of this wildflower for quite some time, but I’ve never been lucky enough to find any!
