I just wanted to let you know that I have planted 3 ounces of 100% Asclepias Butterfly Milkweed in my butterfly garden along with Brown-Eye Susan and Purple Cone Flowers. I have also ordered live milkweed plants, which I hope will arrive this week. My hope is to attract the Monarch butterfly and have a breeding habitat for them. I don’t know if I will be successful.

Sounds like you are definitely on your way to attracting Monarchs!! It might take them a season or two to discover your garden, so if you don’t see them right away don’t worry, if you plant it they will come… :) Good luck!

Very cool idea. I like plants that attract butterflies, but I never thought of actually creating a habitat for them to stick around and thrive. I’m going to do this!
